auto correct french???

hey so today at work i was texting (trying to) some people, and my phone kept auto correcting every word i wrote, into french words. anybody have any idea why this happened? i fixed the problem by restarting my phone, and then it asked me to manually enter my date and time , as well as time zone, which i found weird also

if anybody has any insight into this i'd appreciate it

Same, it's REALLY annoying. I went into the settings and changed it back to english but it keeps going back to french every now and then and annoys the crap out of me when it keeps correcting everything to french.
