auto dismiss kitkat update avail popup?

Refuse to lose foxfi.. is there any way to not have the "update available" message come up every 24 hours (as i have been dismissing it like this for months now)

Do you have root? If so disable updater and moto ota.

no root.. thx though. i'm finding out i could use tasker if i havent rooted.. just not sure how to accomplish it in tasker

For those without root, I wonder if unchecking the Show Notifications box in app info for MotorolaOTA would give acceptable results.

awww, Distorted Loop.. great suggestion.. but i tried it and she still popped up the update notice after unchecking Show Notifications. Motorola OTA must be the thing i need to freeze, because i froze the updater apk and that wasnt enough.. i guess i'll have to root!

Looks like Foxfi just updated Wifi capability for Samsung devices on Verizon 4.4. Shouldn't be long now for us.
