Auto restart

So twice now in the past week or so, my device has restarted while I was asleep. I don't have auto restart turned on because I have the Sim lock on. Is there any way to see what is causing the restarts? Thanks.

I wiped the cache partition. I saw in that other thread that someone said that a device will restart if left on a charger after it's fully charged. I think that's bunk because I've always left my phone on the charger all night and never had my phone restart on its own. Maybe it's a bug?

I did, but I don't see an option to see what apps caused the phone to restart.

My Note 20 U started to restart a few times a week while in my pocket after an update a few months back. I went into settings and reset all settings and it seems to have fixed it.

Settings>General Management>Reset>Reset all settings.

You won't lose data like a factory reset but will need to set some things up again.

Never in safe mode. Just a regular reboot.

This is ridiculous. I was coming out here to update my post from about a month ago. I went as far as doing a factory reset and all was good until this morning it restarted itself AGAIN!!! And this is how it starts. A restart here, a restart there until two or three times a day. I am going to look for that app that Mustang suggested.

I was having the same issue, I cleared the cache and it hasn't happened since. I waited a few before posting to make sure it worked so I didn't have to come back and say, "umm, oops."

Yeah mine was doing it also. When I cleared the cache partition, it stopped. It began after the last update.

Mine has been rebooting since the last update. I've tried everything here except the factory reset, which i don't want to do and hasn't seemed to help. Mine won't reboot until I log in and so it's off, including the alarm.

I did have Clean Catch on my phone, but just checked and noting was turned on, so I just changed that. Anyone find anything on their phone with this app?

I've never had this happen like this and I'm not doing anything different. I'm using the 20 Ultra, tmobile, locked.

Mine hasn't rebooted since I originally posted this. That is until this morning. I have Nice Catch installed, but nothing is turned on besides the top option. I mean, nothing appears to be related to a reboot.

My Verizon Note 20 Ultra just started randomly restarts about 4 days ago. My last update was June 21. So far I deleted any newly installed apps, forced a restart, and cleaned the cache. None of this has helped and the phone randomly restarts at any time. My last hope is a factory reset but really hoping there is a solution or update released before I try this. Any other suggestions?

Mine was doing good after clearing the cache, then it started up again after the last update. I'm going to clear it again and hope for the best.

Well, my Note 20U on AT&T hasn't restarted since sometime after late Tuesday night or Wednesday morning while I was asleep. I'm now wondering if a fix was sent out that I didn't know about. I'm happy so far though.
