When i select "charge only" mode and hit done the usb debugging and stay awake is not checked on the phone? Should I check it b4 continue?

yes, it is the other one was to downgrade the software to bypass the security now it is going to upgrade you again. this time with security off and rooted
I'm hoping this isn't a stupid question. Every time I boot into recovery now, it automatically tries to update with PM05IMG.Zip. I'm not even given the chance to choose any other option, and I'd really like to flash a custom ROM. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?
I'm on my last step I don"t want to ruin it. Should i wait until it reboots or should i Press the power button again to turn it on? Its been a good 5 minutes now.
if it told you to press power to reboot and it shut off instead of rebooting, just hold power till it turns on
Thank You very much. Can you tell me which folder is the file "PM05IMG" located at? I want to delete that. What else can I safely delete on besides that file? thanks again
it is directly on the sdcard , just plug your phone in and choose disk drive, then you can open it and delete it thats the only file that was copied onto your phone from my process

I've used this auto root twice, it worked absolutely flawlessly both times.
The second time was my bad, instead of just flashing the updated radio I flashed it with the whole RUU...my bad.
Took 40 to 45 minutes each time, I could've shaved a few minutes, but I read everything 2-3 times to be sure.
Donated...enjoy a 6 pack on me. (Or about 2.5 gallons of gas at today's prices...)

does not see phone
I downloaded everything but it just doesn't see my phone when I start up the program. (auto loader) I get to the point where the serial number is supposed to show on the phone but there's nothing. I am assuming that it is a connection problem from everything that I am reading on the thread here so I am going to try another usb cable when I get home. I am doing this on a laptop, and I'm not sure which usb is the 2.0 on it so I'll just try all of them. when I launch HTC Sync it finds the phone, just not when I launch the auto loader. If anybody has anything to add before I get going on this again I would appreciate it.
