[WARN] Attention: The time is coming when i will be returning my TB but i have been developing a fail safe system for the Auto-Unroot which i will be also be applying to Auto root if it works well.

It will now do a checksum automaticatlly to verify that misc.img and the RUU are in the proper place before rebooting. This will prevent getting to bootloader and the file not being there. The root/unroot process will either work correctly or not work at all so there will be no guessing game on if everything went well or not.

Right now i ONLY need testers for UNROOT. Please let me know if you are interested in helping.

Does TIB work on this device?

I rooted my phone today and installed several apps that require root access. TIB shows up in superuser.But when I click on TIB, it says it doesn't have root access. I get an error everytime I try to run it.

Anybody else having this problem? Does TIB work on this build?

I basically want to get rid of bloat. will the auto unroot bring it back to the current factory slate with s off ? Or can I use a basic RUU to revert back to stock ?

I am relatively new to all this and I have two questions.

1) Titanium backup is not rooting (all my other apps are just fine). I installed busybox and everything so I am not sure what is the problem here.

2) How do I upgrade superuser? I thought this might help me with rooting Titanium.

Right now it is on version 2.3.1-ef and every time I try to update it i get a message saying "installation of superuser unsuccessful" and "package file was not signed correctly."

Open titanium at the bottom hit "problems"..then get busybox. Then when its done reboot

I am downloading the Auto Pack now and plan on rooting today and potentially switching to DasBAMF ROM.

Let me know any thoughts on DasBAMF or any other good ROMs for a Thunderbolt.

if you still need someone to help, I can help you out. I haven't rooted yet tho, since I just got the phone.

No you do not need Android SDK the adb files needed are in the folder with all the other files the batch file will work with the local enviroment...meaning it will search the folder its in for the files needed

I used both unroot and root programs today because I was sent a replacement due to the kickstand peeling. Both worked great without any issues, thanks DroidXcon for your work making these it saved me a ton of time.
