Auto screenrotation doesnt work after Android 7.0 update

Hi.
I resently updated my Galaxy S7 to Android 7.0 version and now the screen rotation do not work.

Anyone got a fix for this?

Welcome to Android Central! Have you already tried a cache partition wipe? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-24999. Does this still happen in Safe Mode? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28008

Hi and thanks for your reply. I tried the cache wipe and then the auto rotation works fine until I click the sleep button or the display goes into powersave. In safemode it works alll the time.

then it must be an app or corrupted settings file. you might have to do a factory reset

If it works in Safe Mode, then you may just have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away. It can be tedious, but unless there's some clue as to what app might be responsible, it's the only way to troubleshoot.

Auto rotation has always been hit or miss on my Note 5...most of the time it doesn't work, especially when I need it to like when using navigation (Google Maps).
