Hi,

My wife's phone pairs with our car (2011 bmw 335) and makes calls, but becomes paired but not connected when we stop the car. We have to re-pair the phone to get it to connect. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Does the connection fail when the car is off? Not sure if that's what you mean by stopped. My vehicle is older so no Bluetooth to test or share similar experience. Did see some other posts related to Bluetooth problems https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/778051 and
http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s3/564783-galaxy-s3-bluetooth-issues.html. My wife has a Note 2 and uses Bluetooth daily in her 2012 X3. Understand the phones and vehicle models and years are not exactly the same. Perhaps BMW has issues with their Bluetooth implementation for your model and year?

I used to have issues with my 2012 335 but recently they've gone away. I don't know if its cause I'm on a different ROM now, but before I had to make sure i had my bluetooth connection "on" on my phone before i started my car. Now, it will connect regardless of when I turn on bluetooth on my phone.

This happens every time I use my mother's '11 x3. I gave up on it honestly.

My experienced problems began with the Jellybean update. Since then on my 2010 Audi A4 the connection disconnects and reconnects constantly. I'm going to be testing using speakerphone in my car dock the next time I get in the car. Hopefully that will work until they get this ridiculous bluetooth issue fixed.
