Automatic market updates not working?

Am I the only one with updates that aren't automatically updating? I have let the Amazon and Google Maps updates sit for a day, and they haven't automatically updated (even though I checked this option). What gives? My friend's Droid automatically updated his Google Maps when he opened the market.

I am running EB13 by the way.

I don't think is enabled in this Version of Froyo EB13 as it is in DK28, it makes not a lick of sense to me why not.

So is it enabled in custom ROMS then?

My google market hasn't worked right since the update to eb13. Apps will just sit there in the starting download phase. That's assuming I can even access the market without a network error.

I also was having network errors constantly with eb13. Did the hard reset as suggested and everything seems to be working great again.

On my Evo and shift - no matter if checked or unchecked automatic updates.. I would have to go in and manually do it myself. Maybe the next update might fix it.
