Automatic text resizing

Question....on my old droid incredible, if I was reading an article and I pinched and zoomed to make the text bigger, it would automatically resize the text to the width of the phone, so I didn't have to scroll left/right to see the full text. The Maxx HD doesn't seem to do that. When I pinch and zoom an article, it just makes it wider so I have to scroll left/right to see the full line. Anyone know if this is the phone or the browser? And how to fix it? Thanks.
