Hi everyone.
Quick question. Whenever I am in my living room and cast from YouTube, it automatically selects the cast target (my TV via nvidia shield android TV).
Whenever I'm upstairs though, where I have a Chromecast setup with another screen, I get an option to cast to all my cast targets
I have 4 cast targets. 2 downstairs (shield TV, Chromecast Audio) and 2 upstairs (Chromecast and Sony Cast enabled speakers).
In summary, whenever I am downstairs and cast from YouTube(only tried with it), it doesn't give me the option to select the cast target and just plays on the big screen. If I walk upstairs(same network via onHub), it gives me the option to select the cast target.
This is not a complaint, just wondering whether anyone else has seen this feature/functionality.
Personally think it's cool to auto select the cast target you are closest to, if this is indeed what is happening.
