Automatically Switch to WiFi Calls when at Home?

My home's call quality sucks on signal, but it's perfect on WiFi. However, the only way I've been able to switch is choosing "Airplane Mode" -> "WiFi" when at home. When I leave home, I forget and can't receive calls/texts.

Can I set my Pixel 3 to use WiFi for calls on a home network, and automatically switch to signal when I'm out of range?

Set it for WiFi calls, and it should switch to normal voice when you're not connected to a WiFi signal.

Any idea on how to do that with Google Fi network? Phone --> Settings --> nothing... Settings --> Network & internet --> Mobile network --> nothing...

Seems like the "wifi calling" option should be a simple on/off toggle under
phone settings > network > wifi calling

I feel your pain with the poor signal strength at home. However, I just manually turn off the wifi-calling when I turn off the phone's wifi as I am leaving the house.

In the Phone app, tap the 3 dots in the top right corner, select settings, tap Calls, tap Configure IMS Settings The WiFi calling switch is in there. I know, REAL intuitive...

I did what Hallux suggested, but it doesn't automatically switch me to WiFi calling. The weird thing is my bars always show around 3-4, but when I actually make a call it's magically down to 2. The phone THINKS my connection is good, but it sucks.

I even contacted Google Fi tech support and had them put me on the "WiFi preferred" list ...whatever that means... Still no auto WiFi connect.

At this point, not sure if this problem can be fixed. Going to continue with "airplane mode" workaround for now.
