Automatically sync/copy files to sd card from PC

I have a movie folder on my laptop and SD card. I am regularly adding files to my pc folder. Is there a way or app that will automatically copy new files added to pc folder to my s5 SD card folder when the phone is plugged into the computer?

Allway Sync

However, it will not work until AFTER the USB connection has stabilized.

Then you can bring up Allway Sync and depending on how you configured it, it will automatically sync, or it will Sync Manually.

I should think that Manual would be the way to go, because of the need to get the phone and Windows reliably connected together.

I have used this utility for well over 10 years in a very critical environment (Public Safety) and it has never failed me. In this situation, I bought a license to use it.

Do yourself a favor, study the help files.
Open the configuration menus and notice that you can configure each and every step of how it works.
You only need to do this once, as you have the ability to "copy the profile" and create a "new job" with that profile.
Or at least I can, I have a registered licensed copy.

There's another way. Install Google Drive. Set a folder to keep locally on the phone. Save your movies to that. Install Drive on your PC. As long as you have a data connection (you can set Drive to only sync on wifi if you prefer), they'll be synced.

Hmmmm, that would make for an easy way to transfer Screenshots to the PC.

I just use dropbox.. move the movie to my pc dropbox folder, now its viewable from my phone.. no cables required

I tried the free version of Allway Sync. I quite liked it but it occasionally got things wrong and ended up doing a complete resync to the SD-Card, with the result that it popped up a message to say that I had exceeded the limit offered by the free version. There is a similar, but slower and clunky app called SyncSharp which is completely free. You have to pop the SD-Card out of your phone/tablet and put it into the computer, and to use it effectively you have to configure Windows (assuming that that is what is on your computer) to always assign the same drive letter when you insert the SD-Card. Once I had got used to SyncSharp's quirks, I just occasionally pop the SD-Card out of my tablet and let SyncSharp bring it up to date with the documents and files that I maintain on the computer but want to be available on my tablet.
