To me the 3g/4g aircards are $60/month and the 3g aircards are $60/month as well, so why is there an extra $10 for the phone. As a rep this makes no sense. And sprint is going to piss people off because not everyone lives in a 4g area and if they do it could be spotty.

I am very disappointed in their pricing!! They didn't charge extra when they went to 3G so why now? And $30 extra for the Hotspot is outrageous in my opinion, I will never pay that much for it... I might have if it would have been $10 - $15. The only smart thing that Sprint did is made these add-on charges and left the original plan alone. Looks like I'll still be using PDAnet!!

Not happy about this.

It's frankly BS that they are making me pay a 10$ premium when im not in a 4G area.

I have a Pre now, and I guarantee that I wont use much, if any more data on the Evo than the Pre.

I've tried my best to defend Sprint, but sometimes they just make really boneheaded choices.

Gotcha, thanks! I could see this waved as well unless, you are a scheduled city to be getting 4G. Who knows...I'm just happy to be getting the phone. Now did the rep mention anything about Family Plans? Like would we have to pay $10 per phone? Sounds dumb and probably wouldn't be this way, but who knows!

Yeah it makes no sense to make it a premium add on, and then require it for all Evos even if you're not in a 4G area.

I bet it will be just if you are in a 4G area, otherwise, it would just not make any sense at all!

right, it also says it add-on will apply, and doesn't say "will apply for 4G service", but thats just me...
