I was surprised to see that the ZenWatch 3 was available at Amazon on Friday, and I went ahead and ordered mine. Came this morning, and I'm liking it so far. I did a quick unboxing: Asus ZenWatch 3: A quick unboxing.

Awesome. How are you liking it? I'm getting used to Android Wear after the simpler Microsoft Band 2 and Samsung Gear Fit 2. But the ZenWatch 3 itself is pretty nice looking and comfortable to wear, so far.

I haven't been home yet to open the box. I've had a Moto 360 for two years now so I'm pretty versed in Android Wear. I've been waiting for a watch that I thought looked better than the Moto 360 and this appears, from the pictures, to be the one. I'll know in an hour or so.

Here's a side-by-side on my wrist. Generally speaking, it's a bit bigger, but less so than I expected. It's just as comfortable as the Fit 2.

You're welcome. Also note that I have relatively thin wrists, I barely qualify for the large size of the Fit 2 (I use the second-to-smallest notch). And yet the ZW3 is comfortable. I'd say only someone with REALLY thin wrists would find the ZW3 overly large.

Nope. I'm starting to suspect that Amazon might have jumped the gun a little with their shipments. Not even Asus has shipped theirs, as far as I know.

Oops, missed your post. Yeah, it's back in stock at Amazon. I have fairly small wrists as well and it fits great.

I've had a ZW2 for almost a year, but it's the 45mm size. Even though I love it, I like the look of the round watch better, especially without the "flat tire" at the bottom, which was a deal breaker for me. I also wanted the advantage of having a microphone, which the ZW2 45mm doesn't have. After reading all the info I could, I ordered mine from Amazon today (11/20). With Prime, it will be here on Wednesday. I have VERY small lady wrists, but got used to the ZW2 very quickly, so don't think the ZW3 will be a problem for me.

I didn't NEED a new smartwatch, but I WANTED this one as soon as I saw it! Can't deny the WANTS!! Can't wait!

Just a heads up -

It's 6:30 a.m. Central Time on Tuesday, 11/29. I just saw the ZW3 is available on Amazon for $229.99 + free shipping (same as what I paid). It's not Prime eligible, but estimated delivery date is Dec. 12-20. I've been checking Amazon daily, and it seems they sell out very quickly, so if you're interested, better hurry!
