"Avoided poor Internet Connection" - LG G4

[AC Question]

My LG G4 has suddenly stopped connecting to my home wifi, saying that it "Avoided poor Internet Connection", despite the signal strength being "Excellent". My laptop picks up the signal fine, as does my boyfriend's phone. There is NO option to turn off this setting under advanced wifi options. I have tried forgetting the connection, turning Airplane mode on/off, and turning the phone off/on. The phone is not rooted.

Have you got "Switch to mobile data" enabled in WiFi advanced?

under the wireless advanced options, do you have "Avoid bad Wi-Fi" unchecked? keep it unchecked

There's also a developer option to avoid, "aggressive WiFi to cellular handover".
