What are guys are doing while their is being repaired. Are you stuck with no phone, using an old phone, or is att loaning a phone.

Reason i ask im stuck using my old lg optimus pro that i have couple of years ago. While my phone is being repaired.

It really slow and pissing me off.

I bought another from Best Buy and will return it when my phone / the replacement comes back.

I try to always keep a backup phone in case my current one ever breaks.

... But my backup phone died a few months ago, so we shall see about what happens when my LG G3 gets hurt! May have to fire up my good ol' white BlackBerry Bold 9780. :D

I have the following phones:

Note 5
Note 4
2x S6 Active's
S7 Active
iPHone 6s Plus
LGG3

If one goes out....got an excellent back up plan :-D

I've been using a Moto X pure edition for the past 3 weeks and I'll be honest. The screen isn't as beautiful as the S6 and the battery life is short, but other than that it flat out beats the S6 active. I love the 5.7 inch screen size, SD and how close it is to pure Android. I just may keep this as my DD.

I had one and loved it but sold it when I got the active. Ive been seriously contemplating getting another one. The battery got me through a whole day no problem and the phone was perfect size and durability and has excellent stereo speakers. I did miss the fingerprint reader though.

I am hooked on wireless charging. I honestly cant stand plugging a cord into my phone other than headphones.
Some many cheap Qi pads out there you can put them anywhere. That said the S7A battery is so amazing I rarely need to charge the battery at all.

I thought wireless was a gimmick but after using it for a few weeks I think back and go "sheesh what a caveman I was" I look at my wife plugging in her IPhone and think someday she will catch up ...lol...

I agree completely on the wireless charging. Best buy had the samsung mini wireless chargers on sale a few weeks ago for $13, I bought 4 of them. I have only ever used the large one that I got when buying my phone however since thats the one next to my bed and Ive yet to need to charge my phone during the day. I never got the idea of using one since it had to be plugged in anyways but once I started using it I was hooked.

I still wish I knew what I am doing to drain my battery so much quicker than you guys seem to. I turned off the always on clock/message display and that helped a lot but my battery life is still, at best, the same as my 6 Plus. Not that I mind. I'm always around a charger.

The biggest saver for me was disabling background data for google play services and play store. I get consistent 8 hours of S.O.T. and normally charge my phone at midnight with 45-50% battery left. I take it off the charger at 7 am. Beyond that I keep location and bluetooth off unless I need it.

I've got play services and the like disabled, I believe. I do keep location and bluetooth on. As well as wifi. But, I mean....this is how kept my iPhone set up as well. Anyhow, I'm derailing the thread w/ battery talk, lol.

Well I have that 360 Clean app or whatever it's called and it always list like 15 apps that it says have autostarted and caused drain issues. But if you look at the default battery usage in settings, it states it's mostly Android System then the display.... I'm at 97% after taking it off the charger maybe an hour ago and it predicts I can go till 6 am tomorrow but I've never been close to anything like that...

I updated the At&t thread but Ill post this here also.

Just got my replacement. Got a brand new, in original samsung packaging phone complete with new charging block, cable and transfer adapter. Super happy I went with at&t instead of Samsung.

I have used Avast and DU battery saver, they are both pretty good...I hear Greeify is really good too. Maybe try those..DU will let you know what apps are sucking the life out of you. Avast lets you have a lot of control of what and when your phone does things.
