i heard that unboxing videos made it look difficult, so i was prepared for the worst. But I had no problems at all

It really comes down to knowing what you are doing. The problem is to get the outer skin off you need three hands so you can hold the inner box. I just found a bed post of the aproximate size and used that to push against. Once you get the box moving it's all downhill.

If I didn't know before hand how hard it was to open box I would have been frustrated too. Luckily form me I unboxed with only a little trouble and that trouble came from trying to get the N7 sleeve off to even get to the black box.
