Hello, just got the update, seems good but sometimes there's lag, anyone have it?

Mine was doing a few strange things like stuttering a bit with common tasks.
I restarted the phone 2 times and I'm not seeing problems.
Also I've had 11 app updates since Nougat now and the phone is running very well.

Mines running incredible after it settled down for about 30 minutes after the reboot. My battery is on steroids today as well. By this time yesterday on MM I was at just over 50% with little usage. Today Ive had over 2 hours of phone calls and tons of web usage, a bunch of pictures to test the camera updates and a little video and Im at 72%. So far its been a great update.

Yeah mine is running great aswell..super happy with my Axon 7 on nougat... Got today 6hrs of SOT.. Still have 24% left... Running smooth

So, it seems there no real improvements for the axon 7 other than ur able to use daydream

I wouldn't say that. Camera is taking much better low light shots, faster focus, raw images, battery is doing better, Verizon service seems to be working better and no roaming icon, sound is louder. I'm sure there's more but those are what come to mind

Lag issues with some Apps and also random Freezing.

Anyone else facing lag and freezing issues with apps like Groupon and Whats App ? Mine freezes for a few seconds whenever I try to take a picture with whats app inbuilt camera. Also Groupon seem to be having lag issues as well.

I have also experienced some random freezing and lags even when the phone is not running any apps.

No lag on my end but I have read that whatsapp is causing alot of issues. I dont use it.

No issues here... With whats app or any app so far... If u having issue... U should do a factory reset...

Only annoying thing I've found so far with the update is that text messages turn on the screen. Anyway to turn that off?

I'm on project fi, so T-mobile. And I've got zero issues. I can't figure out how to use the split screen though.

Anyone know if the update improves signal strength? Oftentimes people on the other end of a phone call can't hear me as if my mic is muted when I can hear them just fine.

If I could just get that issue put to bed, I'd use this phone for the next 5 or 6 years I love it so much otherwise.

Open and app then press and hold recent apps button. Open app will go to top and recents will be show at bottom, select 2nd app

Looking around Nougat on the A7 I'm having a bit difficulty finding all the features
Takes time I guess...
I did notice RAW is enabled in the camera under manual.


I do want to check out daydream now though even though I had little interest in VR previously.
TV in 3D!
