I posted this earlier and I think it is worth posting here. Dez, from Tmo did a video reveal of the V30 on Facebook. Here is the link:

If you watch the video you will notice that where the B&O branding was on the back of the phone in other reviews there is a V30 branding and no B&O branding. I suspect that the U.S. variant will not have the B&O tuning, like the V20.
I'm not sure what the issue is in the U.S. I have heard a couple of theories like an FCC issue or a branding issue with B&O in the U.S. Who knows? I'm not planning on seeing B&O branding in the U.S. and it will not deter me from considering the V30 given my experience with the sound quality on the V20.
Edit: Here is a link to LG's announcement about the V30 with a picture that shows the B&O branding on the back:

I think the V30 logo is on early pre-production units. The B&O logo is on the later ones or those, who are technically not pre-production.
On IFA all units had the B&O logo and LG did provide the oportunity to try the B&O ear buds with the DAC. Sadly I forgot to look in the settings, if the B&O ear buds trigger the high impedance mode.![]()
