I'm curious if anyone knows of any apps that might work with a smartwatch like the Gear S2 3G (or even the BT version I suppose) that are essentially baby monitors and would alert you on your watch should it detect any noise above a certain level. I know there's several apps out there that use phones either as an audio sensing device or use an old phone's camera as a video monitor but it would be awesome to have one that alerted my watch when there's noise and allowed me to either maybe listen in or tune in (video) if possible?
We do have a baby monitor but thought it might be a nice way to integrate the watch should I step out of range of the actual baby monitor that we have.
Also, I have an office in our backyard and I can't hear the doorbell at the front door and I'm curious if anyone knows of any devices or apps (without monthly fees) that would alert me the moment someone rings at our door?
I guess these two apps would be similar in a way but I think this type of integration with a BT or 3G enabled smartwatch might be particularly useful.
