Background Apps Keeps Closing

Hello android users.I have a question that i need to ask.Why is my background apps closing?.Do my phone does not have enough RAM to run 2 app on the background?.For example,i have google play music running in the background while i play video games/texting.Suddenly my gpm stop and closes.Why? does my phone did'nt have enough RAM to run 2 apps?.Please answer
