Background turns black when scrolling

Ive noticed lately that when im scrolling on the home screen the background of the scrolling page turns black. And when i move apps around the scrolling screen kinda flickers between black and clear/showing my wallpaper. Is this a setting that I somehow changed and didnt realize or something else?

No im not, it stopped doing it after i took the screenshot. Still curious why it did it though lol. It went back to normal as I was typing the post.

It did it today again but it only did for like 10 minutes.
