Hi!
My Pixel 6 has been backing up my photos continuously for a couple of weeks now. I don't take photos every day, let alone continuously ... obviously something is wrong. I'm not running any developer preview anythings.
What do I need to do to get this to quit?
Thanks!

Try disabling Back Up & Sync in Google Photos and then Reboot. You can then re-enable it if you wish to see if it starts acting funny again.

I went to App Settings for Google Photos and didn't find Back Up & Sync. Where should I be looking for it?

Go to Google Photos>Tap on your icon in the right>Photos Settings>Back up & Sync>Then under Back up & Sync disable backup.

Okay ... I found the setting and disabled it, then did a reboot. I'll wait 24 hours to see if it continues to play nice!
Thanks!

If that doesn't work, then try clearing the app cache/data for Google Photos in Settings>Apps.

Well, I just turned the backup back on, now we'll see if my problem returns. If it does, I'll clear the cache/data in settings>apps, and hopefully won't have to do a force stop.
Thank you, thank you!
