I've rooted with Unrevoked (let the hate spill forth).

I want to be able to save my 4G in the future.

Anyway, how do I save my RSA keys? How do I make sure I didn't kill my 4G in the first place?

to check, go in to adb or from terminal emulator on the phone:
cat /dev/mtd/mtd0 | grep RSA

as long as you see -- BEGIN RSA KEY & --- END RSA KEY at the end your 4G is in tact.

to backup your 4G keys use clockworkmod recovery 2.6.0.1 or amon ra recovery and perform a nandroid. Inside of the nandroid will be a wimax.img file, those are your 4G keys :)

I copied mine to my computer and emailed them to myself through gmail just so I'll always have them.

Search "joey krim" in the market, he is a great dev that made a app that checks your RSA keys.

I keep a nandroid of the latest stock rooted rom, backed up using the latest Amon_ra tucked away in my pc just in case i ever bork my 4G.

If i ever get 4G in san diego grrr...
