Question Backup for Galaxy s23

Hi.
Just got an s23 with tmobile.
Was using my great s9 with sprint.
Just in case my s23 is destroyed or lost, what's the best way to routinely back it up, so could restore to new phone?
Getting confused about microsoft vs google solutions.

Have a look here and decide what's best for you. Really though, having your data backed up in multiple places is good practice. The 3-2-1 rule.

Smart switch PC backs up mostly everything including pictures, video but also back those up with Google photos, keep Samsung cloud also sync on the device
