Backup Secure Folder

Since I am staying with the Note 7 and patiently waiting for the replacements. I am already thinking ahead on the data transfer.

The Free 256GB came in so my media files will go there. I can easily back up the KNOX side.

But what about the Secure Folder side?

One option, install ES File Explorer on the Secure Folder, then put files into zip folders and move to SD card.

Any other ideas out there?

That's sort of what I did. But I wouldn't use ES File Explorer and Secure in the same sentence anymore. ES became filled with ads and cr*p. I uninstalled it a while ago and use Solid Explorer. To zip with a password I used AndExplorerPro.

File Expert is really good too. Best I've seen-I don't think you can do more in a file app then what you can do with them.

I thought secure folder was backed up on the Samsung cloud. Thought you could just log into your Samsung account on the new Note7 and all would transfer. Guess not huh? Is secure folder stored on the device only?

I did find this, it seems you can move stuff out of the SF to my files. That will be backed up through the Samsung account and then transfer the files back to SF with the new Note 7
