Bad battery?

Within 20 minutes of unplugging my phone and taking it off silent mode, my phone went from 100 to 94%. I lost 4% more downloading a map route. It's this normal? Something with the battery? Maybe from taking it off silent mode? A bunch of notifications come in at once, maybe they did it? After typing this I'm sitting at 87%
(I know signal isn't great, once our trees leaf up in the spring it gets lousy I've noticed, but wifi it strong)

My phone battery has started draining rapidly as well.
It started after the Oreo update.
I did a factory reset and it was better for a few weeks but is now back to the same behavior.
(when i did a factory reset I started from scratch too, no restoring anything)

So I think its something to do with the update.

At this rate I think I will be moving to a pixel series phone later this year.

Same. I'm so annoyed. Did a reset and it was great for a few weeks my husband just got an LG that is pretty great.

My battery has been trash too.. but it has been over a year now with the phone so maybe the battery has degraded for me. Cant wait till September/October for Note 9/iPhoneX.
