Bad ESN with Verizon, can I pop in t-mo Sim and use my DNA?

I'm not trying to circumvent or do anything dishonest, but since the ESN is bad would it work? I've got a friend with a tmo Sim just don't want to mess up his Sim or anything. Thanks for any help.

Yes, everything works on phone just ESN is bad.

It only had a bad esn reported on Verizon's network. You won't have problems using it on another carrier

Hey any news on your bad Verizon ESN phone working with T-Mobile sim??? My cousin bough a bad ESN verizon iPhone 5 from eBay (unlocked) . he wasnt able to activate with his carier. He gave it to me as payment for a $50 loan!! will it work on T mobile sim???

It only works with unlocked phones..like DNA that phone comes SIM unlocked from vzw. I haven't got a SIM yet to try, you know how some friends are

In my experience, it DID NOT WORK!
I bought a Note 4 Edge, from VZW. The seller DID mention that the phone was bad esn, but I still bought it.
Apparently, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and other USA wireless carriers DO share the blacklisted Data Base, and it will not work.
I'm looking for a place that fixes them, still no luck.
