Bad Lag

I was wondering if anyone else experiences lag or freezing and has to fix this by resetting the phone every once in a while. I close all my apps but the RAM usage says that it's being heavily used. Any suggestions?

It is normal for the RAM to be used a lot. Android tries to fill up RAM when idle versus just letting it sit free (like Windows). Clearing RAM just causes the phone to work harder as it will continue to try and fill the phone with more programs for faster processing (a.k.a opening).

After updating to 5.1 my phone lags a bit and freezes when using the stock internet browser. No problems while on 5.0 though.
