So I'm on baked snack 1.8 and im thinking about switching to myn but I would like to get some feedback if the switch will be welcome? I tried the first myn release and I liked it but it wasn't my favorite has it greatly improved?

I have been on Myn longer than any other ROM. It is very stable, fast, and great battery life.

I did not like the theme but once I redid that it was fantastic.

i had 1.8, im not downing hero or his work, but imo its nothing special...

myns has been my daily driver for awhile now (since rsl1) and will stay that way...

its pretty much "top dog" in sense roms...

i have said in a previous post that i hope 1.9 or 2.0 really changes that opinion...
otherwise i doubt ill be switching back...

Yea I think bakedsnack is solid but far from impressive but now I want something to wow me

is there supposed to be any major improvements in 1.9 because if not i may try out myn

try them both, see which one u like better.

i personally like Myns better.

changelog currently for 1.9:
- Built in transparent theme or different theme for that matter.
- Change Battery Life indicator to show Percentage as well
- usb tethering mod from myn
- Myn's Hot Restart option to reboot options
- Remove USB Debug Notification
- Brightness scaling tweaks
- themed ime
- added back rom manager
- dsp manager
- Calkulin's MMS Size and MMS compression (although that can be applied separately)
- Unlocked Sprint HotSpot (although not totally necessary due to wireless tether)
- new: kernel_over (the best battery and performance possible until a new code drop)
- dubstep ringtone is now default
- lowrider super transparent theme (heros widgets ans mods are back!) (need you guys to vote whether this will come stock or seperate)
- transitions from myns rom!
- removed wireless tether
- dalvik adjustments

kernel:
- add back 5 point mt for snesoid and such
- new conservative governor tweaks which make for the best battery/performance (on touch it scales to max and the instant the processor is no longer being used it scales back to 245)
- slight brightness tweaks to prevent aggressive switching
- overclocked by default.

i personally was NOT a fan of his new hero over laptop kernel...

its OC'd whenever its been used and then drops to 245 when its not being used...

alot of us seen horrible battery out of it being overclocked when being used and seen this as overkill..

currently im on myns with the newest htc kernel (see thread in this forum) and im underclocking it to 691max and see no performance loss...

if i do ill bump it up a little....

i was a b.s. user for awhile. but then i found finisher.. i luv that rom.. 40 hrs of battery life! but when i went to myn's i was very impressed.. and it is my daily. dont see anything really beating this... would like to see some dif themes for it. but other that that rls 3 was awesome.

Does everything work on Myn's?

Does it come with wireless tether app?
Yes, its a sense rom,
Wireless teather is available in the market and congress with myns.

But the actual stock sprint hotspot app is hacked and that works as well.
