Bang & Olufsen H4 Google Assistant Issue

Hi,

I recently bought a pair of B&O H4 headphones. They're paired with my Huawei P30 Pro.

I'm having issues getting the assistant to consistently speak back to me on long pressing the play/pause/on/off button. I get the notification to talk, ask it a question, and - more often than not, maybe 75% of the time - the answer appears on my phone, but does not come thru the headphones. On other ccasions, it then works as it should.

I have everything 'allowed' and paired correctly clearly, as it does sometimes work.

Any help appreciated.

Did your phone come with Google services installed, or did you have to install them yourself (i.e., was it after the Huawei ban)?

They were installed.
