I have a number of things I'd like to inventory using barcodes and in particular DVD/BR movies and music CD's. There are a number of apps that indicate the use of barcodes but I'm not sure if it's just a data entry thing or if it can look up the barcode and provide additional info.
For movies it would be nice to be able to scan in all my movies and build an inventory without having to manually enter titles etc. I've picked up a BR only to discover, when I get home, that I already have it. It would be nice to scan the barcode in the store and then see if I already have it before buying it again.
So, any ideas?
