barely any 4G coverage in Vegas

I have the EVO 4G, and live in San Diego, paying an extra $10 for 4G, which is non-existent in my city. I recently went to Vegas for the weekend, and I was really excited about using my 4G connection, however the service was spotty at best. I had great signal in the airport, and did the speedtest and was really amazed.

However when I got to the strip and those areas, I barely got any signal on my 4G. I know that the strip isn't all of Vegas, however me and my friends went around Vegas quite a bit, and still my signal was very weak. The only place I really got good 4G coverage was at the airport.

Just a huge waste if this is the coverage the sprint is talking about.

I was in Vegas on the strip early August and thought the 4G was pretty good. Even worked inside the hotel room where I was able to use the phone to tether.

I didn't try to use it everywhere I went, so I imagine there are a few dead spots here and there with all those giant buildings.

Any Sprint customer with a 4G phone will benefit from your thread, so I've moved it to the Sprint forum.

I agree. I was there Labor Day Weekend and had no issues connecting to the 4G network. It was full strength at times.
