I've actually had the opposite happen for me. My battery seems like its doing a lot better since the gb update. By the end of the night im usually at 30-40% still.

Before the update, I used Juice Defender to get a day out of a charge. After the update, I had to restore, didn't turn on Defender, and my battery life was incredible. Don't know if it was the update or the wipe though.

I .sbf'd back to froyo then rooted and installed the 2 part .596 GB and my battery life has improved.

Today for example with moderate usage I'm at 13h, 27m, 0s on battery and still at 40% life.

Switching to GB was definitely an improvement for my battery life.

I feel the same way. Battery performance had been amazing since Gingerbread was released. I easily get 12-15+ hours of battery life with moderate to heavy use throughout the day, usually with a little more to spare.
