I bought a LG V20 cell phone about a month ago. About a week ago I saw a in Sam's Club they had a Atomi 2pk Recharge 10000mAh Battery Bank and bought it. It has two charging ports, one is 2.1A and the other is 1A. The LG V20 takes a C type cable and can charge faster with the LG Fast Charge adapter that came with the phone. My question is, can I use the Atomi battery bank to charge my phone? What would be the difference between charging it in the 2.1A battery bank and using the LG adapter? Having a backup battery bank on the go would be nice to have but is it safe to use on my new phone?

Yes, it is perfectly safe.

It won't be the fastest charge available but it will work fine and is safe to use.

About the only difference will be that the backup battery has to be recharged when it gets down to about 40%, while the LG charger doesn't need recharging. (The phone will not draw more than it's designed to draw - you can use a 30 Amp 5 Volt "charger" [I do - because I have one on the desk] and the phone will still draw only as much as it's designed for. Remember, that 100 Watt light bulb in your house is connected to a million Watt [or probably a lot larger] alternator at the power station - but it only draws 100 Watts.)
