Battery Compatibility?

I just received my Droid Incredible 2 in the mail today. I currently still have my Droid Incredible. I was wondering is the Incredible battery compatible with the Droid 2? Please forgive my ignorance. Thank you.

Yes and no. The battery would have to be flipped upside down and your going to have to really cram it in there. It is just a hair bigger.

Why do you say that? Plenty of people who have been using inc batteries flipped with tab clipped off who have had no issues. Why should there be any issue as long as the polarity is correct and voltage is the same?

If u have to modify the battery then I believe you are taking a risk. And I rather buy a 40$ battery then risk a 199$ smartphone.
