battery dies overnight

I typically slow charge the phone at night, but at my sister's house I charge it to 100%, then leave it unplugged.
The past couple nights the battery has died after about 8 hours, it's just sitting on a nightstand.
Any ideas as to what to look for?

check the battery consumption and see the apps that drained the battery then uninstall them.

Yeah, your battery stats can give you some clues about what's draining the battery. Also, how is the signal in that place? A very weak or non-existing cell signal can easily deplete your battery very quickly.
