battery discharges while in power off mode

charge phone at night before going to bed (charge at 100 %) . Power off phone. Turn phone back on next morning and battery life is at 30%. Whats draining the battery . Replaced phone with another and still having the same problem. Any ideas whats happening

Dunno if this would work for you, but did some digging around.

After reading that some applications implement a "partial wakelock" which prevents the CPU from going to sleep, I decided to get rid of all of my installed apps and start fresh. I did a factory reset and sure enough, no more overnight, power off battery drain. I am glad I didn't panic and return or exchange my phone. I hope this saves someone else some time and aggrevation as well

thanks for the info . I will uninstall Mabilo ringtones , live football scores and fox news and hopefully it solves the problem

uninstalled all applications . phone battery still has same problem. Thinking about returning phone again
