Hi,
I've galaxy s4 I9500 and recently updated to android L update.
Since the update, battery drain is very fast.
Android system is using almost 70% of the battery and battery is completely drained in 8-9 hours with low usage.
Can anyone help me to solve the problem

Thanks in advance

Me too - I used to truly love my HTC One M8, but since updating to Lollipop (5.0.1) the battery life is making it virtually unusable. Surely somebody has the answer, or details of an update that will fix this ridiculous act of technical suicide.

Out of curiosity are you using the official US carrier build/do you have an international unit or did you flash the international update to a US device? If the build is not official that could easily be the issue but if it is, it may be a programming issue with the update that will be fixed later!

Updated to lollipop yesterday, regretting it horribly. After dealing with my S3 and it's battery problems, I was happy to upgrade to the S5, this update kills it.
I'm hoping things get fixed soon!

Lollipop was pushed by AT&T and battery drain immediately went awful.. battery would be dead within 2 hours under light to moderate use. I monitored power usage and could only see Andoid OS was major offender . The Fix is Factory reset.. after reset I'm good for the day again even with my two year old battery. Lollipop lock screens and notification screens were better on clean phone. . All old apps reinstalled and I'm happy..was last option before junking phone..DO THE RESET
