My first question is about battery drain. Today, my phone has been doing really well with the battery lasting a long time. But yesterday the story was the opposite. This on again off again battery drain pattern of being drained every other day has been happening for at least a week now. Anybody got any idea why this is happening?
My other question is about what I call a calendar app quirk. I use the "calendar snooze" app to help me with my calendar reminders. With my galaxy s4, things worked pretty well. Now that I have a galaxy s7, I have a minor problem with the snooze portion of the app. If I have more than one reminder demanding my attention, periodically what happens is that I will delay or dismiss one reminder, and perhaps the next reminder will be on the screen so that I can decide what to do with it. Most of the time it is, and it is the third and following reminders that are minimized as if I were on my windows computer, and I have to bring the remaining reminders back to the screen using a vertical finger swipe from the top of the screen toward the bottom of the screen. Then the next reminder may or may not be on the screen, and I may have to do the vertical finger swipe again to see the next reminder.
This happens most of the time with my reminders on my s7. I have contacted the "calendar snooze" app developer, and he says there is an update coming that should fix the "quirk", but I was just checking in case someone on this forum knows about some s7 operating system quirk that could make this "minimizing" effect happen when two or more calendar reminders pop up for attention. Thanks.
