Battery DRAIN CAUSED BY AN APP....BUT WHICH ONE??

Well...it looks like I have a problem because both are identical and I can not find the app that is running. I will try to download Spare Parts to see if I can find the culprit. Very frustrating.....thx for your help?

Turfster, leave your phone off the charger for a couple hours. Open Spare Parts and then select Battery History at the very top. Select the drop down menu at the top that says "Other Usage" and then select "Partial wake usage".

My guess isd there will be something that is approaching 100%. That is your offending app.

I went into phone>settings>about phone>battery>battery use.....and Cell Standby is 24% and phone idle is 21% and android systems is 10%.......

Something is draining my system/phone. Watch Dog was of no help and I do not like Juice Defender because it hangs up my emails from pinging them every 10 minutes, etc.

What Spare Parts app do I use? There is two companies that offer it and I want to use the best one?

Word with Friends was HORRIBLE. Notice I said "was". Uninstalled.

Can't you just adjust notification settings for that app to do different times? You can set it for 15 min/ 30 min/ 1 hour etc. I just got my EVO 4G so I'm not sure what exactly my battery usage baseline is as of yet since I just got it and I'm still playing with different apps etc I spend at least a few hours on it heavy usage daily. I set mine to every 15 minutes since it doesn't have the shake to refresh option like with tweetcaster (for that app I set it for 1 hour or to refresh whenever I shake the phone). So far I don't have any major complaints, although since I don't start work until next month I'm free to keep my phone on a charger whenever I'm home. I also have juice defender app, which is supposed to shut down some of the usage whenever it notices the phone not in use. Whether or not the app works I'm not 100% sure on since I didn't track before/after usage. I just got it since I've heard ATK was a waste.
