I've had this issue since I updated last week. I factory reset my phone twice and it didn't work. I restored it with all my apps, it however doesn't do this and stay awake when in safe mode. It hardly wakes up at all. Help... this sucks.

The Awake line looks pretty normal, but that's for 24 minutes. Let it run until the battery is at about 40%, then take a screen shot of that second page, and one of the first page, showing the list of apps and what percentage they're using, and post them. (Then charge back to 100%. 40% is about the lowest you should let the battery go unless your life is at stake and you're calling for an ambulance.)

OK, will do when it gets to 40% tomorrow.

RukBat, here are my battery stats as of now. Awake time is high compared to my mom's s4 that has been on battery for 2 days, and hardly been awake with 4 minutes of awake time and 5 minutes of cpu... pictures are from my s5.

Interesting discovery, see where the battery "flat lined?" It's like I'm on kitkat again! The only catch is that it doesn't wake up nearly as much in ultra power saving mode. I hate that mode as it makes my phone a "dumb phone" and I would like for it to do the same in regular power mode.

Have you looked at what apps are running in the background, a app can cause this and third party apps have been a issue before

3hrs screentime with 12 hours uptime and 4hours left, looks pretty average to good to me. I'm not sure why you think lollipop will give you a big increase in life, its only marginally better than kitkat was (depending on what ROM you are on).

I struggle to do 3hrs of screentime in one day, but i do use alot of social media apps, which are battery suckers. Not that it matters as it lasts a working day just fine, so i can charge it up for the next day every night.

What I think worked for me was to remove the stock weather app from the home screen and also take out the weather and pedometer on the lock screen. I know it doesn't make much sense but that's what it is

He has lots of wake locks going on there when the screen is off, you need to go through your apps and delete stuff you don't use or don't need.

Also get GSAM installed so you can see what apps are using the batt when the screen is off. Its not necessarily just the android system keeping it awake.

These are mine. Draining about 10% an hour just on standby. I'm on AT&T.
