Battery icon turned red!

I've never had a phone do this before. My battery icon in the notifications area turned red.

What is going on?

Will my Pixel 6 Pro explode?

Do you have screenshots? It does that when you turn on the battery saver, I wonder if that's what it is.

That usually means Battery Saver is turned On. Is that turned On on your phone?

Yes, I was experimenting with different settings. I turned Battery Saver ON and that's what it was.

Thank Goodness! I had just filled the bathtub with water and was getting ready to throw it in!
