Battery issues with Froyo?

I'm running my colornook with the Froyo sd card. However, I've noticed that my battery is draining very quickly. Also, if I charge it while it's on, it takes about 20 mins for every percent I gain. (i.e. 20% to 21$ charged)

Because it's charging so much faster when I have the nook powered off, I'm thinking that I have a process running that is sucking the power from the battery and keeping it from charging in a reasonable manner.

I'm using a clock widget and a battery widget. But I don't think that's the problem. I've removed all phone, telephany and mms apks from the system, so that's not it.

Any suggestions?

Try making a back up of the nookie froyo SD card. Rewrite the SD card again and then try it. Take it an app at a time and see if its just one of the apps or its an actual hardware problem. If its just the NC then take it back and get a new one. Nookie froyo or full root has never acted like that for me. Cant tell you for anyone else. I hope its just something easy like a crappy battery sucking app lol
