battery life 24+ hours?

I've been using mine since Monday. After 15-18 hours I usually have about 50% left. I get a lot of notifications and talk a lot for short whatsapp responses.

I really thought that this was going to be another one for the early adopter drawer on my bookshelf, I'm enjoying using it. Wasn't expecting much so I guess that's why I'm not disappointed.

i think im going to contact motorola for a replacement. Ive been doing test for about 3 weeks now. A few things i've noticed are:
1. ill sit the watch on my desk and no notifications come in and bam the screen turns on. It'll do this up to 8 times in a minute...
2. Inconsistent battery life. One day ill get 22 hours the next day, nothing changed, phone by it at all times and ill get 12 hours with 8% left.

I reallly think my main problem is just the random screen turn on's and i've only been able to find one other person out there that has the same issue as me.

:(

My moto360 could last for more than 24 hours. Some custom watch face really cost battery life.

I took my phone off at 7:15AM and had it on all day and receiving notifications all day...its now 2:51AM (next day) and I still have 21% left....this phone can definitely last at least one day

Yeah, haven't really seen the issue on the battery, I can easily get two "working" days use out of it.

However the only app I have is Facer.

Im getting terrible battery life :( after 4 hours off charger I'm at 46% :/

I took it off the Qi charger about 5:40 AM this morning, here it is it is 11:20 PM with 54% battery left. I think it would last +24 hours (With my usage pattern).

Initially went for Pebble Steel, but decided to jump into Android Wear/Moto 360 when I heard the update improved the battery life significantly. Glad I did as it gave me a whole new perpective on voice activated smart watches (A.k.a., "Google Now").

I usually go from 6am to 10pm with 50+ % left. Every day since launch so far. ☺

Should be able to easily do it now. End of a day from 10am to 4am (so a very long day), I can still have 40% left. I could push it through the next work day most likely.

Not running any apps obviously. Using stock watch face. Ambient off. Shut off gmail notifications today.

In normal usage, I typically have 35% battery left after 23 hours (Gmail notification on, ambient off). I take it off in the morning to charge it up while getting ready for work - I 'd say it only takes around 40-50 minutes to charge up. I take it off the charger at 95% charge or greater.

FWIW, I would prefer the screen do not turn on unless I swipe. Not sure but I think it is more sensitive with ambient on.

Time was 4:45 PM when I took the screen shots. I took it off the charger around 6:20 AM.

I'm loosing about 15% per hour and I don't have anything installed on it.
I wonder what phone people are using that are getting great battery life.
Wonder if it works better with stock Android phones?

I take it off the charger at 0700, put it back on at midnight, each day, at least 60% battery remaining.

Ambient off, I get every email, every text, plus Fit info. I don't baby it, or use it like a toy. I use it to respond to email, or preview everything.

This has been an EXCELLENT purchase, very, very happy. Next year's model is a day one buy.

battery life 48+ hours?

Yeah it is possible, here's my proof:

I kept the battery consumption at 2% per hour over two days. I had the brightness set at 3 (IIRC), ambient mode off, and gmail notification off. About mid way through the marathon, my Moto 360 alarm went off at 5:20 AM and didn't realize it had been alarming. It was off my wrist as I was getting ready for work - I work up early that day.

Took about an hour and twenty minutes to charge it back up to 99% from 7%. The last few percent of charge to top it off is non-linear and IMHO is not worth it. I usually take it off the charger at around 95%.

I have no issues with the battery life whatsoever. Easily get through my day and night with usually 40% left. Fell asleep with it on one night and was able to make it through the next day. I love this watch.

I have gmail, hangouts, Google Now, calendar reminders, call notification, Amazon deliveries notification (yeah I'm a Amazonaholic), heart rate & step goals on & use navigation at least an hour per day & use it as my alarm to wake up in the morning. Plus I use the set timer function several times per day for work & when cooking dinner. I also have an alarm set for a lunch reminder. I use it to answer/send at least a dozen hangouts messages per day. I also use OK Google for various info queries a few times per day. And I also have to show the "is that one of those smart watch thingys" people how it works occasionally too. Oh yeah, I check the time at least 10 times a day, it is a watch after all. I charge every morning while getting ready for work. I grab it off the charger at 5:30am & put it back on the charger at about 4:15am. I always have at least 20% charge left with this typical days use, almost 23 hours. I feel for the use I do this is very acceptable.
