Ahh sorry misunderstoodI don't have Nova Launcher myself I was replying to the previous poster who posted their battery stats and nova is 7.1% which looked heavy to me.
Very early days for me just yet.
Received the phone Monday 24th direct from Samsung UK.
I have the Exynos N20 Ultra in the Uk.
120Hz adaptive refresh rate is On.
Dark Mode.
Brightness around half way.
Battery on Optomise setting but not adaptive.
Screen time out 2 minutes.
I don't have lots of apps as I only use a select few to be honest.
Any google apps / services I remove or disable especially Google Chrome.
5G turned Off as I can't use it anyway with my Carrier.
Installed back up from Samsung Cloud and Apps from Playstore My Library.
I have put some apps to sleep and some to deep sleep which is what i did also on my N10+ 5G. Habit really !!
I use a burner sim card at first when setting up my new phone's and keep my previous phone as my daily driver while I'm taking my time tweaking my new phone's settings and preferences.
I've read a few posts from people who said they could see the battery % drop even when not doing anything on the phone.
So I charged the phone to 100% and left it sat there with mobile data , Bluetooth, nfc On and WiFi Off.
From 05:30 to 18:00 it went from 100% to 96% which I think is reasonable as notifications and background activity is still happening.
I give my phones around 10 days to fully learn and optimise.
Charging and discharging the battery will help the battery reach optimum output.
Stay safe.
@Ruben Ocasio That's incredible! I would really like to know how you achieved that lol. I turned off my 5G and I think it's helping a little now. Need to find what else could be draining my battery. Is google play services suppose to be this high?![]()
Google Play Services shouldn't be high imo.
Maybe 2 to 3%
Every phone is different as we all set them up differently.
If you google for info on battery drain and Google Play Services it points towards sync issues and Google apps and services communicating too often or something like that.
Personally I disable all I can in regards to Google apps / services and Google Chrome.
Stay Safe.
I did notice my Nova was high and I have no idea why. I was fiddling with the settings at one point yesterday, but I didn't think that would cause the usage to be so high.I don't have Nova Launcher myself I was replying to the previous poster who posted their battery stats and nova is 7.1% which looked heavy to me.
No issues again. Got 5 hours screen time yesterday off charge at 7.30am and by midnight was still on 6%
For me that’s fine. I don’t get How people have the time to be on their phones for 6-8 hours of screen time
My test today will be switch WiFi off at work and use 4G only to see the battery life differences
I will have to send a screen shot tomorrow or something but I'm getting pretty decent battery. E everything is on defaults and I've just removed the bloat and games. I took the phone off my wireless charger last night at 9pm woke up around 7 am and it was ON95% I went to work and had the directv app running for 5 hours and I was only on 69%. Thats impressive. Even the 1ST day I had it I only used a little but of battery. I'm using dark mode in some app just bc I like it but system settings is sunrise to sunset.
Using SD on Verizon fyi.
IS there anyway I can Change when the Medium battery saver kicks in ?
Just some pre-installed Verizon stuff, games, and some Samsung stuff i would never use.May I ask what "bloat" did you remove ?
Disabled 5G and my phone battery is noticeably better. Its getting close to where my Note 10+ was at! I recommend disabling it for now!
