Battery Life discussion thread.

It's not about getting to a charger that's the issue. It's those 5-10% of times when you are out late, on holiday, at a function etc etc and it gives you peace of mind.

Especially when there are other phones out there which produce outstanding battery life on android.

But do the others have a 6.9 inch display with 20hz/variable frame rate...

Down to 40%

Exactly. I took 150 sunset pictures last night and used 22% in 45 mins doing so. But that's not too different from my 10+ tbh. Also in that situation screen brightness is max.

If it was holidays or cycling situation I would probably have a power bank with me as any phone struggles in that situation.
I would imagine that a camera like in this device would be power hungry alright but for holidays and so on where I take lots of pics I normally have a powerbank with me to top up over the day, even just a small little 5000mAh one is handy.

Third day with the note 20 and it's battery battery life than the note 10 plus so far. I am a heavy user but also have chargers everywhere so I really never worry about battery life anymore.

30% and still going OK 🙂

Are most of these battery life complaints coming from people with the exzynos version?

Don't listen to the battery complaints, it's just to early to say how good/bad it will be, plus we all setup and use our phones differently

Exynos here so the issues I'm sure will be more exynos but yes it will take time. Mine is improving each day. Its fine at home but when at work is the test

And we're down to 20% 🙂

Last 10% and I'll time it charging using the 45W when it hits 2%

I need to test again.... At some point the fast charger turned off. Last night on the 45W charger I was getting 5000 mAh when I was at 5% but once it hit about 25% it slowed down. Soooo.

I plugged it in just as it hit 4% and phone itself said 1 h 9 m to fully charged, let's see how it goes

Gsmarena reviewed the Exynos version and said that the 45 watt charger is no longer supported. Not sure if that SD version is the same.

GSMArena is a crappy clickbait site but it is correct that it is officially NOT supporting 45w charging, only 25w.
However... some people think that it charges quicker than the 25w so I want to see it for myself.

So far a day battery with 7.5 to 8 SOT

That’s pretty damn good. What’s settings? I’m not bragging but my iPhone 11 Pro Max gets 10ish but I also don’t really know anymore. It never falls below 40-50 because I have the Samsung wireless chargers. Which surprisingly work well for iPhones.
