ADB command off PC the GSam app has the command on its settings. Enable More Stats

So why i use GSam over Device Care , P.S Outstanding Battery Life


I use GSam Battery Monitor Pro that will actually show you if the phone was charged and the real SOT ,So like my SOT there's no charge there at all Since Device Care Resets after 24Hrs,

I'm on Snapdragon AT&T and lots on Android Central is getting battery life SOT from 8 to 9hrs like me, Also that's mostly people getting it on Snapdragon, Now for Exynos lots over there are getting terrible battery life,

So all has to do with Exynos, Me i have my Brightness set at 90 to 93% manually , also i don't use edge panel so have that disabled and i have all AT&T Bloatware disabled since i don't

use any of them except mY AT&T app account, also have a few Samsung bloatware disabled since i don't use them either that way none of them run in the background, i do lot's of

browsing on Samsung Browser lots of text, XDA Labs, Youtube, few phone calls ,Also do Bluetooth on Youtube to hear music and use spotify sometimes, Use Instagram a lot and

Twitter, Telegram and always on Android Central site alot and a few more apps can't remember , also when driving use bluetooth for youtube to listen on my system car, Everyone won't get same SOT since we all use our phones different.

P.S Always on 120hz

I wouldn't say that is true, I know lots of people including YouTubers who also have the Snapdragon and are getting horrible battery life such as myself. I haven't even seen 6 hours of Screen on time yet, my average is 5.5 hours.

Someone i quoted in Twitter on what i mentioned on Exynos Can't remeber Who thought, And For Snapdragon i've seen more positive on the battery life compared to Exynos, Just Saying , But like i mentioned before not everyone will get the same SOT Since everyone uses there phones different.

Most important point and comparing SOT with someone else is not going to help that much. I get 6hrs SOT and that's great for my usage since on most phones I average around 5 hrs. That's why I compare my own SOT with other devices etc to judge battery life of my devices. At the end my measure of good battery life is, can I get thru the day without having to sweat about battery life if I can't charge thru out the day. This phone passes that test for me. But everyone's experience might not be the same as you mentioned.

Definitely Correct, as long as it gets you thru the whole day without having to charge it , definitely passes.

I've had and have devices over 3 years, depending what next year on Note 21 series. This seems like device I want keep for 2 or 3 years.
My iPhone x still original battery 3 years, same with 1+6

You'll need{ minimal adb fastboot v1. 31.1 set up} Google this, so you won't have to install whole Android studio

Excited to try this. It'll make the gsam app so much better! Need to know which apps to punish and send to time out! Ever since Samsung or Android changed the battery stats it's been so confusing. And I love the ability to see usage and SOT from last full charge. I hate the way the phone defaults to the day because I'm a power user and that tops off all the time and it's useless to see SOT for the day when I'm topping the battery off once or twice a day.

It really was the worst "fix" they ever made. I hate it. I never had battery monitoring apps before because I was always told they are intrusive and end up suckling up battery, but it's really the only way to monitor my usage based on how I use my phone.

Exactly how I look at it. As long as it gets you through the day doesn't matter what the screen time is. I used to care about screen time back then but now its whatever as long as it lasts all day for me
