My battery is pretty bad - I charged to 100% a few mins ago, and restarted my phone.

Now, 35 mins later, i am at 89%. Per the android battery usage menu, I only have the following:

Screen - used for 19 min, 3%
Android system, 1%
Android OS, 1%
Facebook, used for 2 min, 1%

Not sure how i can be at 89% already with these figures. It's getting to be a real pain because any light usage will drain my phone.

In GSAM monitor it says that screen used 45%, phone radio 21%, and App usage 33%, Held Awake 1%. Are these #s normal?

If the screen was on when you unplugged the charger, and it's been on since then, it will be close to 100%, so 45% for 20 out of 35 minutes isn't that bad - unless you weren't using the phone for anything. Phone radio, if you weren't on any phone calls, means you're using the wring carrier - their signal isn't strong enough. App usage is high if you weren't running any apps. Since you were only using Facebook for 2 out of 35 minutes, even though it's a battery hog, it only accounts for 2% of that 11%

(These are percentages of the 11% used, so 45% means 4.95% of the total battery power.)

But if you were only using Facebook for 2 minutes, why was th screen on for 19 minutes? And how high is the screen brightness? (20%-30% is normally enough indoors.)

It seems to be a combination of things - long screen timeout, wrong carrier, a lot of app usage (that's not showing, or Facebook has gotten really bad recently) and, possibly, a bad battery. How far do you let the battery discharge before recharging it? (You should never let it drop below 40% - and you should never charge it higher than 80%.)

lately since the battery has been draining quicker than usual, it's been getting as low as 10-20%.

is there an easy way to replace the battery ?

I've had mine since release and my battery life is noticeably worse than when I got it. I can no longer use it all day without charging a couple of times.

Battery life on the S8+ is really a hit or miss. Sometimes it used to last longer than my current Pixel 2 XL but mostly it was quite less. I usually account battery life to multiple non-user actioned factors. A bad network signal for instance can delete battery quite quickly.
