Battery life? not great?

No worries.

I'm not buying the device for the 120Hz display. I'm buying it for the S Pen, extra storage (512GB!), and the 12GB of RAM. I wish they'd give us a 90Hz display option. I'd keep that on all the time.

I plan on running the adaptive setting myself since it can't run the 120hz higher than 1080. My daughter has the S20+ and doesn't like the 120hz setting. Go figure. Lol.

I guess I've never seen the 120Hz on a smartphone in action. I had a OnePlus 7T Pro Mclaren edition for a week (returned it because battery didn't last long) and I loved the 90Hz display. I'm going to mosey on to Best Buy at lunch to pick up the UAG civilian case for the Note 20 Ultra. I'll check out the 120Hz on the Note 20 Ultra while I'm there. Maybe I'll change my mind about it!

We're talking about a $1300 (at least) device, even if that's now what I paid. I am NOT gimping it's abilities to save power when I've got more power readily accessible. May not work for all, but...
Same here. Most ppl have access to a charging device in a 10-12 hour period of needed. But 8.5 hours of screen time is great.

It's buttery smooth. I thought my S10+ was smooth until I tried the 120hz. Can't wait to get it I'm my hands.

I used to worry about battery life, but no more. I use it how I want to without a care about brightness, what settings, and all that jazz. Nowadays we've got the option to have chargers in all shapes, sizes, and wattage...with or without wires. We can juice up just about anywhere in 30 min or less. I realize no one wants a device with abysmal SOT, but its just not a big a deal as it used to be to me.

Same here. I used to care about SOT and all that nowadays I just use my phone normal and honestly my Note 10+ lasts me just as long as I need throughout the day. I'm sure the Note 20 gonna be just as good for me
